“I have been a dedicated runner for about six years, and I’m not one to need a trainer to make me work out. However, I had hit a plateau with my running – every run was the same, I simply switched up the mileage each time. So, I decided to give Debora’s group running classes a try. My first night at class we ran sprints around the lower loop of Central Park, and at the next class we did hill repeats. These are things I would have NEVER done on my own, but Debora is so encouraging and thoughtful about the workouts, so it makes it fun. What I love most is that she explains exactly what we are doing, and how that will be beneficial to our running. Each class is different and new – sometimes we run on trails, sometimes on the loops. In just four weeks of classes, my running has improved dramatically – I am stronger now than ever before, and my pace has improved. And, as a New Yorker who thought she had seen every inch of the park, these classes have given me a new appreciation for Central Park.”

The Total Movement happily announces the formation of the Mile High Run Club. The 2012 race season is upon us, and the new Spring schedule is below!!!
We meet twice weekly for performance improving runs in Central Park. Guest coaching by elite runners and pros will be scheduled throughout the year. The annual fee of $125 includes one free personal training session for runners as well as a sexy Mile High T-shirt.
Please Email debora@thetotalmovement.com, and tell me a little bit about your running and goals. Beginners are advised to build up to at least 4 miles on their own before attending the group runs.

Runs are scheduled every Sunday morning at 10:30AM, and every Thursday evening at 6:00pm for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Meet at the entrance to Central Park at 59th Street and Columbus Circle near the fountain. Try not to bring bags or items that need to be locked up.
